Blockfall Z
Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HOUSE VO CONSULTING LLC (“we”) handles information for Blockfall Z on Android and iPhone/iPad, blockfallz.housevo.app, beta signup and update records, and support. This policy covers the Android 1.0 and iOS versions of Blockfall Z and their platform services.

Privacy questions or access, correction, and deletion requests: blockfallz@housevo.app.

What the app stores

You can play without creating a HouseVo account. We do not run an app account or cloud-save service. The apps contain no advertising SDK or standalone analytics service, and do not send your game boards, local settings, or gameplay history to a HouseVo server. Google’s Play Games SDK on Android processes service analytics and diagnostics as described below.

Android: saved games, best scores, Daily attempts and results, free-preview usage, tutorial completion, and sound, music, appearance, haptic and language preferences are stored in the app’s private storage. Sound effects and music are bundled, not streamed. Google Play processes subscriptions and payments; the app checks purchase status to provide and restore Premium access. We do not receive payment-card or bank details or send purchase receipts to a HouseVo server.

The Android app offers Google Play Games sign-in and a Classic leaderboard. When signed in, Classic best scores are submitted to Google and can appear with your Play Games profile to other players. Google’s SDK processes your gamer identity (nickname and avatar), service activity, SDK usage analytics and diagnostics to operate the service, improve stability and improve Google’s products. These SDK analytics and diagnostics are collected automatically. Google handles this information under Google’s privacy policy. Manage your Play Games profile, participation and game data through Google’s Play Games settings. Profile visibility controls who can see your game activity; a private profile does not publish your scores to other players. Google provides controls to delete an individual game’s data or your Play Games profile. Gameplay and local saves work offline; purchases and online leaderboards require connectivity. The app does not use Google Drive saved games or a HouseVo cloud-save service.

iPhone and iPad: saved games, best scores, Daily results and the current Daily attempt, mode-preview usage, tutorial completion, and preferences such as sound, music, appearance, and haptics are stored locally. The app uses Apple’s purchase and Game Center services as explained below. Its music and sound effects are bundled with the app.

Both versions use device information needed for local operation, such as the date for the Daily puzzle and audio/lifecycle state to pause music or respect other audio. The game does not record microphone audio, inspect the content of your other music, or request access to contacts, photos, or precise location.

Apple purchases and Game Center

iPhone and iPad only: Apple’s App Store processes subscriptions and payments. The app checks Apple-verified purchase and subscription status to provide or restore access. We do not receive your payment card or bank details, and do not send purchase receipts to a HouseVo server. Apple handles its transaction records under its own policies.

The iOS app offers Apple Game Center sign-in and leaderboards. When you are authenticated with Game Center, the app submits Classic scores to Apple. Game Center displays leaderboard scores with your player nickname and avatar to other Game Center users. Apple also processes game activity associated with your Apple account. Manage participation and visibility through your device’s Game Center settings; signing out prevents subsequent score submissions by the app.

These services are provided by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy and Game Center privacy information. Android uses the corresponding Google services described above. Private groups, cross-platform accounts, and weekly online challenges are not currently part of either app.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Local app data: saved scores, progress, and settings remain until replaced during use or removed from your device. On Android, use the system’s app storage settings to clear Blockfall Z’s storage, or uninstall it. On iPhone/iPad, delete the app to remove its local app data; offloading the app keeps its data. These actions do not cancel an Apple or Google Play subscription or erase platform-held leaderboard or purchase records.

System backups: app data may be included in device backups or device-to-device transfers controlled by Android, Apple, your device manufacturer, and your settings. Android backup is enabled for this app. Removing local data does not necessarily remove backup copies, and a restore can bring saved data back. Manage or delete backups through your device or backup provider. HouseVo does not operate those backups or control their retention.

Platform records: manage subscriptions through your Apple account or Google Play. Use Apple’s privacy and Game Center controls for Apple-held information and Google’s privacy and Play Games controls for Google-held information; deleting the app alone does not delete a leaderboard entry. Store and beta-platform records follow the relevant provider’s retention and deletion rules.

Information you send us: you can request access, correction, or deletion of beta signup and support or developer-held beta-feedback information at blockfallz@housevo.app. We may ask for verification that you control the email address before disclosing or changing a record. We cannot remotely inspect or erase local game data, device backups, or records controlled by Apple or Google. There is no separate HouseVo app account to delete.

Website and beta signup records

The website’s email signup is optional. It lets you request beta invitations and launch updates for your chosen platform. Earlier beta-interest signup records are handled under these same practices. We save your email address, selected platform (iPhone/iPad, Android, or both), original and latest signup times, and a record of consent to beta invitations and launch updates. We use these details to manage interest in Blockfall Z and send the invitations and updates you requested. Joining does not create an app account, start a subscription, or automatically enroll you in TestFlight or Google Play testing. iOS and Android beta access is managed separately through their testing platforms; access can depend on an invitation.

Beta signup and update records are stored in a private database on our server, separate from public website files. Server administration is required to view or export them. Periodic cleanup removes records older than 365 days from the latest signup. Operational database backups are not used for marketing; scheduled daily cleanup removes backup files older than seven days. A verified removal request is applied to the live signup database and retained database backups. To withdraw consent or request removal sooner, contact us from the address you used to sign up.

Website traffic and local interactions

We use Cloudflare to deliver and protect this website. Cloudflare processes network information, including IP addresses and request details, under its service practices. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Our signup service uses short-lived, in-memory request counters to limit spam; it does not save your IP address in the signup database.

Routine access logging is disabled for this site at our Nginx server. Error logs may contain technical request details used to investigate failures. Those logs do not have a configured automatic deletion period at our server; contact us with a privacy request if needed. Cloudflare controls retention of its own service records.

The website sets no analytics or advertising cookies and loads no third-party analytics scripts. Fonts, design assets, and the 3D renderer are hosted with the site. The interactive world and optional synthesized audio run locally in your browser; we do not collect pointer movements, scroll activity, or sound preferences. Your browser still sends the requests needed to load the page and submit the form.

App stores, beta testing, and diagnostics

Apple and Google process information when you use their stores or beta services. They may make installation, crash, diagnostic, review, or beta-feedback information available to developers according to their services and your settings. These platform reports are separate from the Play Games SDK activity described above.

For TestFlight specifically, Apple automatically shares crash and usage reports with us during beta testing. Reports include app and device information, such as versions, device model and identifier, language, sessions, and crashes. Email invitations may also expose your name and email address to us; those details are not shown to us when you join only through a public link. Feedback you submit can include comments, screenshots, and additional device diagnostics. We use these reports to investigate problems and improve Blockfall Z.

See Apple’s TestFlight privacy information and Google’s privacy policy. The platforms control their collection, retention, and privacy options.

Support, recipients, and security

For Google sign-in support, contact housevo-support@googlegroups.com. This is a private-conversation support group hosted by Google Groups, managed by the HouseVo owner. If you email us, we and our mail service providers, including Google Groups when you use that address, handle your email address, message, and any attachments to respond and resolve your request. Beta invitations and updates also pass through mail service providers. We retain support correspondence and beta-feedback copies only as needed to respond to and resolve requests, comply with applicable legal obligations, or handle disputes. You may request deletion; if information must be retained, we will explain why.

We do not sell your personal information or use signup records for unrelated marketing. Information is handled by the providers described in this policy for their respective functions; we may also disclose information when legally required. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through support or the signup form, contact us to request removal.

The public website uses HTTPS. Signup storage is separated from the public website and restricted by server access controls. Local app storage is protected by your device’s app-storage controls. Apple, Google, Cloudflare, and mail or backup providers apply their own security practices. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
